Star of the Week!

Our last Star of the Week loves to play soccer. She likes to swim, and may be taking horseback riding lessons! She has two sisters who go to school with her. She is the youngest in her family but has lots of baby cousins. Her favorite color is pink and her favorite season is winter. Thank you, Star of the Week!

Our Star of the Week likes to swim, travel, climb, and play “spies” with his brother. He has a sister; she sometimes likes to play on the swing set with him in his backyard. Thank you, Star of the Week!

Last week's Star of the Week likes to play with his brothers (he has four); watch his older brother's football games; and play t-ball, soccer, and lacrosse. He brought in chocolate chip muffins- one of his favorite morning treats! We had fun learning about you!

Last week's Star of the Week LOVES to travel! He has been to Paris, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden. He even rode the overnight train to Germany. He has a younger sister and he likes free play in P.E. Thank you, Star of the Week!

Our recent Star of the Week brought in a wonderfully decorated poster filled with family photographs! This Star loves cars, spending time at his summer house on the dock, and being with his family. For snack he brought in star cupcakes! What a delicious treat! Thank you, Star of the Week- we had fun learning about you!

Our Star of the Week showed us some pretty adorable baby pictures! She likes to ski with her family and recently went to Switzerland. She likes hanging out with her family dog, Callie. Thank you, Star of the Week! We enjoyed learning more about you!

We learned our Star of the Week loves to travel to warm, exotic places! She loves her family and can walk the tightrope! She is a ballerina!

Last week's Star of the Week decorated a poster with beautiful photographs of family and friends! We learned this friend used to live in Chicago, loves to swim, her favorite sweets are cookies, and she has a twin sister and younger sister. Thank you, Star of the Week! It was so fun learning about you.

Our Star of the Week brought in an awesome framed picture poster! We learned our star of the week is a true athlete who loves to play t-ball, lacrosse, and swim. When he goes to the beach he likes to jump over waves with his dad, and dig in the sand! He also likes to ride on his mom's boat. He even shared his favorite snacks this week- yummy grapes and starburst! Thank you, Star of the Week!

Star of the Week!

Our Star of the Week made a huge posterboard and filled it with special pictures and decorated it with fun words! I can tell he spent thoughtful time with this project. We learned that our friend likes to swim, wear masks (and dress in disguise), and go to Six Flags. He also LOVES his family! I can't wait to learn about our next Star of the Week!

Mrs. Armstrong is the STAR OF THE WEEK!

We are starting a new project in 6D, which will highlight a special friend each week! This week was my turn- I was the "star of the week". There are three aspects to this project:
1. When you are star of the week, you are allowed to bring in a photo collage/picture collage of some of your favorite things. I made a photo collage of myself and of my family. One day this past week I shared this collage with 6D.
2. You are allowed to bring in a favorite snack for your friends to eat. I brought in one of my favorite cookies- oreos! Please make sure that when you bring in your snack, you do not include any nuts.
3. Last, but not least, when you are star of the week, your friends will draw a picture of you doing one of your favorite things. These pictures will be combined in a book for the star of the week to take home and cherish. Stay tuned this week for our next star!
